The role & impact
As a People Experience Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of our global People team. You will oversee the end-to-end coordination of the employee lifecycle, ensuring that onboarding, internal movements, and offboarding processes run seamlessly. Your dedication ensures every employee experiences a smooth journey from their very first day.
By maintaining data integrity within our people systems and acting as a trusted point of contact for employee queries, you directly contribute to a supportive and well-functioning workplace culture. Your work empowers our regional teams to focus on strategic initiatives, knowing the foundational administrative operations are executed with care and precision.
This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract role.
The team & how they connect
You will join a collaborative and supportive People Experience team that thrives on open communication and shared goals. The team manages foundational people operations globally, working closely with talent acquisition, payroll, and people partnering to deliver an exceptional internal experience. Together, we connect virtually and in person to solve operational challenges and support our growing workforce.
The team is currently working on OR initially, the role will focus on
- Owning frontline operational delivery for global processes across the full employee lifecycle.
- Identifying system friction points and scaling automation and AI wins to eliminate manual processing.
- Driving continuous improvements and efficiencies within Workday, JSM, and related workflows.
- Upgrading internal knowledge bases and documentation to provide accurate advice and support.
Where and how you can work
We support a hybrid working model that balances the flexibility of working from home with the collaboration of being in our Melbourne or Sydney office. You will spend time in our modern office hub during designated team collaboration days, also known as boost days, to connect and create together, while enjoying the autonomy to work remotely for the remainder of the week.
Requirements
- You bring a background in human resources, people operations, or a closely related administrative environment.
- Understanding Jira Service Management and Workday (or similar systems) and, where appropriate, implementing system/process improvements.
- You're eager to embrace the future of People Experience by learning, championing, and integrating AI efficiencies into our workflows.
- An exceptional eye for detail is part of your toolkit, ensuring high data accuracy.
- Your outstanding communication skills allow you to assist employees with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
- You possess a natural ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining strict confidentiality and discretion.
