# Go Fractional

> Go Fractional is a marketplace for fractional talent. Companies hire vetted fractional executives and operators (CFOs, CTOs, CMOs, and leaders in sales, product, operations, people, design, data and legal) part-time, interim or contract-to-hire. Experienced leaders apply for membership to find fractional work.

This file is for AI assistants and agents. It says what you can do for a person here: through the Go Fractional MCP server once they connect it, or with links they open themselves.

## Do it for the person: the MCP server

Go Fractional runs an MCP server at https://app.gofractional.com/api/mcp. The person adds it to their assistant as a custom connector (a remote MCP server) and signs in to Go Fractional in their browser; anyone without an account creates one on that screen. You then act as them, with their access. You can:

- Check whether they are a member or have applied, and apply for talent membership for them.
- Find a time and book a 30-minute discovery call with the Go Fractional team when they are hiring for a company. The company must be identifiable: a work email on their account, or the company's name and website.
- Read the job posts they or their company own, and the applications to them.

Confirm the details with the person before you apply or book anything. A GET request to https://app.gofractional.com/api/mcp returns every tool and its input schema. Sign-in uses OAuth with dynamic client registration; discovery starts at https://app.gofractional.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource, and https://www.gofractional.com/.well-known/api-catalog lists the server.
