- I helped architected the original billing and e-commerce system along with the CTO.
- E-Commerce system was implemented as an SOA that is usable by both our web client and mobile clients. We used Laravel to build our backend. I also helped upgrade us from Laravel 5 to Laravel 7.
- Implemented an isomorphic React app with re-usable components for our different clients and contexts ( Customer, Vendors, and Admins ).
- The application and business saw exponential growth to thousands of users and thousands of vendors. Expanding from NYC to over 4 major US cities.
- Being a startup, I also wore many hats learning about marketing, may ways to define churn rates, and creating business dashboards to fast feed back looks to make better business decisions.

- As Associate Director at Meredith I helped to manage the Entertainment Group in this challenging time of the digital evolution of publishing. - I lead the team through 2 different migrations; one being a general systems migration, and the second splitting the system into a headless backend with micro-services, using a multitude of languages: primarily PHP (Drupal/Wordpress/Custom Scripts) and NodeJS/ReactJS sprinkled with Docker+Kubernetes, and AWS technologies. All migrations were helped along with a foundation of Unit Testing and Selenium testing.
- I have always been attracted to the more difficult problems and specifically system integrations. It probably explains my seemingly random array of programming knowledge. I have done many things in the engineering role from e-commerce and ERP systems to large publishing and high-traffic sites. I enjoy getting to a complete solution. I have learned in my 15+ years of experience that a true "complete solution" involves not only a technical response, but process, QA, and many other facets are involved in getting there.
