## Interim Traffic/Shipping Manager Job Summary
The Traffic / Shipping Manager leads transportation and freight operations to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and on-time delivery of finished goods. You'll manage carriers, oversee shipping staff, analyze freight performance, and drive improvements across our logistics network.

## We are looking for someone with:
- Manage inbound and outbound freight (LTL, FTL, parcel, brokered freight)
- Optimize freight costs through rate analysis, routing, and carrier management
- Monitor transit times, service levels, and on-time delivery performance
- Manage carrier, broker, and 3PL relationships and contracts
- Ensure DOT and internal compliance across transportation activities
- Supervise traffic and shipping staff; oversee training and performance
- Partner with production, warehouse, and customer service teams
- Implement process improvements to reduce delays and increase efficiency

## Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- 3 years of supervisory experience
