Community Guidelines

Below are our community guidelines that you should read in full.

Be Respectful and Professional: Treat all members of the community with respect and professionalism. We have a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful behavior, harassment, or discrimination. If you see something, say something - please email [email protected] if you wish to notify the team about something that happened or that you saw. We aim to cultivate positive interactions with members, valuing diverse opinions and encourage constructive discussions.

We have a "No Jerks" Policy: We uphold a strict "no jerks" policy. Members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that contributes positively to the community and refrains from disruptive or disrespectful behavior. In short; "don't be that person" and you will thrive here. Part of a community is about doing the right things, living the guidelines here, and being a good digital member of our group.

Assume Positive Intent: Most interactions are through Slack or Zoom, which can be hard to decipher tone and meaning. Assume positive intent means putting forth and accepting discussions that are presumed positive. This means maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for all members. We actively encourage uplifting interactions that inspire and motivate others.

Share Knowledge and Support the Network - Be Kind: Empower each other by leveraging your expertise. Your guidance can be the solution someone is seeking, and your question might be answered by someone else giving back. Our members are here to find great clients, network, explore collaborations and build up their consulting practice. We have members in the community who are actively seeking mentorship or individuals to mentor. If you're interested in either. Let us know and we can pair you up to support your goals and strengthening of relationships in the community.

Responsibility and Integrity: You are responsible for your posts and interactions. Exercise judgment and respect confidentiality and privacy. Any confidential information shared should no go outside of the Go Fractional network, per the language in the agreement signed when joining our community. Avoid sharing proprietary or confidential information without authorization. Do not share personal or sensitive information about yourself or others without consent. Privacy is paramount in building trust and safety in our community.

Referring Clients to Go Fractional: You can refer prospective clients to Go Fractional, earning 5% of revenue from any placement on an ongoing placement. Use your unique referral link to refer companies to Go Fractional. We do not allow or tolerate using the member list, or solicitation of members to go around the platform in any instance. We have built this community and platform from a place of abundance, not requiring exclusivity and in return we require members to work with us should the need arise to bring in other consultants, refer a member to a company, or generally work with a client that learned about you through your profile. The community does not exist without you which is why we are proud to offer a competitive recurring referral fee.

Contracting with Clients: Members do the work. No subcontracting. No agencies are allowed in the community or to work with clients. Companies come to use looking to hire extremely talented individuals on a fractional basis.While we do allow members to work with clients as individuals or an entity (such as an LLC) we do not allow them to be an agency, outsource their work, or bring in additional contractors. You should always be talking about yourself (vs. the entity) when speaking with clients.

Content Policy: We do not allow any misinformation, spam, racism, sexism, or any other form of discrimination, personal attacks, illegal activity, trolling, or explicit materials. This is integral to preserving the integrity and professional atmosphere of our community.

Participation Means Agreement: By engaging with the Go Fractional community, you agree to follow these guidelines, contributing to a respectful, professional, and collaborative environment. Our community thrives on the positive and constructive participation of each member.

Grow as a consultant: We strive to provide resources, community learning sessions, profile resources, and of course great clients to grow your practice. We intend for you to listen, learn, and grow as a consultant whether you have been doing this for decades or days.

Breach of these community guidelines will mean removal from Go Fractional. The management team reserves the right to remove any member from the community for behavior deemed inappropriate or harmful to the community ethos, without prior notice.
