Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Fractional Finance Director to join our leadership team on a 3-day-per-week basis. This is a hands-on, strategic role supporting our London and Paris operations, working as a trusted advisor to the CEO and acting as a key member of our Exec Leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance leader who brings both strategic oversight and operational depth.
Requirements
Short-Term Priorities
- Lead the Audit and R&D claim process commencing 1st April 2026
- Safeguard and manage the company's financial position
- Provide clear and consistent reporting to UK and Investor Directors
- Support Directors with key financial metrics (cash flow, P&L performance tracking)
- Oversee and support the UK Finance Team
- Manage and report on the Paris financial position
Medium To Long-Term Responsibilities
- Oversee the full UK finance function
- Partner with the Executive Leadership Team on strategic financial and operational decision-making
- Report on Group finances to the CEO and wider Board
- Act as a trusted financial and operational advisor to the CEO
- Provide financial oversight across key projects
- Lead on pricing strategy, costing models, and performance metrics for project delivery
- Provide ad hoc advice on UK and international tax credits
- Deliver scenario modelling and forecasting for the CEO and Investor Directors
- Key point of contact for external stakeholders (Auditors, Accountants and Banks)
- Take responsibility for all statutory reporting and compliance
Skills And Attributes
- Proven experience as a FD or senior financial lead with business strategy and operations focus, ideally in growth, turnaround, or project-based environments
- Strong audit, R&D tax claim, and statutory reporting experience
- Commercially astute with excellent analytical and financial modelling capability
- Comfortable operating at both board and operational levels
- Experience in the VFX industry or similar creative environment would be highly advantageous
- Experience managing multi-location or international finance functions is beneficial

Hours and location
Our core hours are 9.30am to 6.30pm or 10am to 7pm Monday to Friday.
