The AI Education Project

We believe that everyone, especially those who are likely to be disproportionately impacted by AI systems, should have access to the conceptual knowledge and skills they need to thrive in the age of artificial intelligence. Our mission began in 2019 when we discovered that students in a vulnerable community had no exposure to AI education. Through extensive research, we found that the majority of students in the US complete their K12 education without any knowledge of AI. We aim to change this by empowering educators, schools, and districts with accessible curricula and learning resources, making AI education a part of every student's education. Our team of educators and AI experts work together to provide AI literacy skills through professional development and curriculum integration.
