The company is seeking a highly experienced individual to fill a fractional Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) role. This position is critical for advancing the company's compliance and security posture, especially given its focus on sensitive healthcare services and data. The ideal candidate will provide leadership in establishing and maintaining a corporate-wide information security management program to ensure that information assets are adequately protected.

Responsibilities
----------------

*   Lead efforts to achieve HITRUST certification and ensure ongoing HIPAA compliance.
*   Develop and implement a robust security incident response team and procedures.
*   Provide strategic guidance on security architecture and vendor interactions.
*   Conduct necessary auditing and implement required changes to meet compliance standards.
*   Be available for crisis management and security incident responses.
*   Guide and assist in setting up security measures to protect patient data and other sensitive information.

Qualifications
--------------

*   Extensive experience in healthcare environments with focus on HIPAA and HITRUST compliance.
*   Proven experience as a CISO or similar leadership role in a hospital or large healthcare practice.
*   Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, architectures, and security questionnaires.
*   Flexibility for a part-time commitment, approximately 10-15 hours per week.
*   Preferably a background in both health tech and technical experience with relevant technologies.
*   Ability to work within a dynamic and sensitive environment facing complex security and privacy needs.
