The company is a profitable, debt-free e-commerce company that manufactures decorative and performance lime plaster systems and serves both B2B and B2C customers in high-end residential and natural building markets. The organization is looking to transition from founder-led customer support to a structured CX model that preserves the clarity and responsiveness our customers expect while enabling sustainable scale. The company is seeking a Fractional Director of Customer Experience to design and implement a scalable CX function, hire and onboard a part-time CX Coordinator, and prepare the function for future General Manager oversight.

**Responsibilities**

Audit & Design Support Model

*   Evaluate phone, email, chat, and social workflows.
*   Categorize inquiry types, define escalation thresholds, and design a scalable CX operating model.

Build CX Infrastructure

*   Evaluate infrastructure and if needed select new and implement CX platform and tools.
*   Establish standards, SOPs, performance metrics, and reporting structure across support categories.

Hire & Develop Part-Time CX Coordinator

*   Define role scope and accountability.
*   Lead hiring and onboarding.
*   Structure the role for transition to future GM oversight.

**Qualifications**

*   Experience in CX Leadership.
*   Experience building CX systems from the ground up.
*   Strong process and systems orientation.
*   Experience selecting and implementing CX tools.
*   Comfortable hiring and managing remote part-time staff.
*   Preferred: Experience in e-commerce and technical product environments.
