Role Description

The Fractional CFO/Owner – Business Connections is a part-time, remote role focused on building and managing the financial strategy of a referral-based healthcare residuals business. In this position, you will design and oversee financial models for recurring revenue, evaluate profitability of referral partnerships, and develop forecasts to support growth. You will review and interpret financial statements, provide regular financial reporting, and advise on cash flow, budgeting, and risk management. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing program performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and recommending pricing or commission structures that align with mission and margin goals. You will also collaborate with leadership and business partners to guide strategic decisions, optimize financial operations, and support sustainable expansion.

Qualifications

*   Strong finance foundation, with skills in Finance and Financial Planning to design and manage sustainable, mission-aligned business models.
*   Proficiency in interpreting and preparing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
*   Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate profitability, assess risk, build forecasts, and optimize commission and pricing structures.
*   Experience in fractional, startup, or small-business CFO roles, ideally in healthcare, insurance alternatives, or membership-based models.
