## Fractional Controller (Part-Time)

**Schedule**

- Approximately **20–25 hours per week**
- **4–5 hours per day**
- **3–4 days per week in office in Scottsdale**
- **1 day per week remote**

**Role Overview**

The Fractional Controller will be responsible for managing the company's accounting processes, maintaining financial accuracy, and providing financial insights that help leadership make informed decisions. This individual will work directly with the CEO to ensure strong financial management and operational efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Financial Oversight**

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations using **QuickBooks**
- Oversee **accounts payable and accounts receivable**
- Ensure accurate financial record keeping and transaction entry
- Perform **monthly account reconciliations**

**Cash Flow & Financial Planning**

- Monitor and forecast **cash flow**
- Prepare and present financial reports and projections
- Provide insights into company financial health and performance
- Support leadership with strategic financial planning

**Payroll & Compliance**

- Oversee and process **payroll**
- Administer tax filings including **1099s, 941s, sales tax, and other required filings**
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting and tax obligations

**Budgeting & Event Financial Planning**

- Develop **internal company budgets and financial forecasts**
- Create **cost estimates and budgets for events and client engagements**
- Track project and event profitability

**Qualifications**

- **7+ years of accounting or finance experience**, including controller-level responsibilities
- Strong proficiency with **QuickBooks**
- Experience with **cash flow management, financial forecasting, and reporting**
- Knowledge of **payroll administration and tax filings**
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Experience in **events, hospitality, entertainment, or production industries** is a plus
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with leadership
