**About the Role**

We’re looking for a **Fractional Chief Technology Officer (CTO)** to architect and lead the next evolution of Yieldschool’s non-custodial asset management systems.

You’ll design and scale secure infrastructure for portfolio execution, wallet connectivity, and cross-chain integration, building the backbone of how clients interact with the on-chain economy.

Our current stack is functional and externally audited but needs a complete rebuild to achieve institutional-grade scalability and reliability. This is a **hands-on builder’s role** where you’ll refine what exists, implement modern standards, and shape a world-class engineering foundation.

**What You’ll Do**

- Deliver secure, scalable on-chain infrastructure supporting **$10M+ monthly throughput**
- Architect systems that achieve **99.99% uptime** and institutional-grade reliability
- Lead architecture for **Solidity** and **Rust** codebases (**both required**)
- Implement DevOps, audit, and compliance frameworks for high-trust execution
- Build repeatable **security and penetration-testing processes**
- Partner with leadership to shape the long-term technical roadmap and product vision

**What You Bring**

- 4+ years in software or systems engineering, including 3+ years in technical leadership
- **Solidity (required)** and **Rust (required)** development experience
- Proven track record building and scaling blockchain or cloud-native systems
- Deep understanding of **wallet infrastructure, smart-contract security, and cross-chain protocols**
- Mastery of infrastructure automation, DevOps, and secure deployment practices
- Crypto-native mindset with uncompromising rigor around reliability and auditability
