Job Description: Chief Product Officer (CPO)

Overview

The organization is on a mission to digitize the industrial materials industry. With a focus on developing internal digital tools and automating workflows, the organization is expanding its business to include software solutions. To support this growth, the organization is seeking an experienced Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead product strategy and operations. This is a remote-friendly role.

Responsibilities

• Validate and pressure-test the existing product strategy and roadmap
• Help sharpen product-market fit and guide planning under uncertainty
• Act as a sounding board on blocking product–tech decisions
• Coach the founding team on product leadership

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a CPO or senior product leadership role, preferably in a B2B environment
• Strong background in developing and executing product strategies
• Experience with vertical AI solutions and digital transformation in traditional industries
• Ability to work in a complex, non-digital-native industry
• Demonstrated success taking products from zero to one and achieving product-market fit
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Preferred: experience working in or with industrial or heavy industry sectors
