Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Interim Material Management Manager to oversee our inventory and supply chain operations during a transitional period. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead critical processes, optimize material flow, and ensure seamless operations within our organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of material management, including procurement, inventory control, and distribution.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce waste, and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Lead and motivate the material management team, providing guidance and support during the interim period.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards related to material handling and storage.
• Prepare reports on inventory status, material usage, and supply chain performance for senior management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in material management.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in material management, supply chain, or logistics roles.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards related to material handling.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
