Senior Full Stack Developer
Job Description
The organization is seeking a senior full‑stack developer to provide flexible, outcome‑focused engineering capacity to handle overflow work across clients in industrial and regulated sectors. This role is critical to enable the team to move from billable‑hours work toward outcome‑based delivery, accelerate internal projects (software, dashboards, workflows, automation), and maintain momentum during variable workload periods. Expected commitment is roughly 10–20 hours per week on a monthly retainer model, with an urgent start in the coming weeks and a minimum engagement of around three months. Remote candidates are acceptable given time‑zone flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of overflow projects from scoping through delivery with minimal hand‑holding.
- Design, build, and maintain web applications, backend services, and integrations to support client and internal needs.
- Develop dashboards and data visualizations that surface actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Automate processes and streamline workflows to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with the tech lead and small internal team to align work with business outcomes and priorities.
- Scope, estimate, and commit to outcome‑based deliverables rather than strictly hourly work.
- Ensure code quality, testing, deployment, and monitoring best practices are followed.
- Communicate progress clearly and regularly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Adapt to fluctuating workload and reprioritize tasks as business needs change.
Qualifications
- Senior full‑stack experience with proven ability to deliver end‑to‑end systems independently.
- Strong hands‑on background in building web applications, backend APIs, and data dashboards.
- Demonstrated experience with workflow automation, integrations, and architecting practical solutions.
- Ability to scope projects into outcome‑driven deliverables and work within a retainer/part‑time model.
- Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across time zones with small, founder‑led teams.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Track record of maintaining code quality, testing, and reliable deployments in production environments.
- Availability for around 10–20 hours per week and ability to start in the coming weeks; open to a multi‑month (≈3‑month) minimum engagement.
