## Role Overview

As a Talent Acquisition Team Lead for our Manufacturing and Supply Chain function, you will hold a visible, high-impact leadership role at the heart of our regional talent strategy. This is a strategic leadership role that blends people leadership, business partnering, and project management to maximise how we attract, engage, and hire world-class talent, with an engaged and motivated high performing team.

## Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, embedding TA deeply into business decision-making
- Act as a functional business partner and visible trusted talent advisor to key leaders (PL and Functional leads) — understand their strategic workforce priorities, anticipate hiring needs, and co-create talent strategies that directly support business objectives
- Use data to shape the agenda – sharing external insights to support strategy; be the advocate and escalation point for business feedback
- Lead the maintenance of functional pipelines, ensuring alignment to business requirements and on-plan delivery
- Build, generate and maintain reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
- Drive hiring manager capability — equip leaders with tools, training, and confidence to be effective recruitment partners; lead the Licence to Recruit training to leaders and hiring teams
- Manage expectations proactively — provide regular, transparent updates on recruitment activity, pipeline health, and market conditions
- Build and lead a high-performing team — set a compelling vision, foster accountability and collaboration, and create an environment where people thrive
- Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports through regular feedback, development planning, and career conversations
- Drive performance excellence — set clear expectations, monitor performance against KPIs and SLAs, and take decisive action to address gaps
- Lead through change — act as a visible champion of transformation, guiding your team through new ways of working
- Model leadership behaviours — demonstrate integrity, inclusivity, and passion for talent
- Cultivate team engagement — proactively manage team wellbeing, motivation, and morale
- Identify, attract, and retain top talent within your own team, building a robust succession pipeline
- Be an active member of the E-Talent community; lead, participate and drive delivery on projects locally, globally and regionally
- Represent the UK&I TA Team as a visible representative, sharing updates and initiatives in People and TA forums
- Lead the MSC Hiring Team and business partner the function

## Required Qualifications & Skills

- Exceptional people leadership skills — passionate about coaching, mentoring, and developing others
- Exceptional relationship management skills with a client-centric mindset
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, from hiring managers to senior functional leaders
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable leading through ambiguity and change
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into insight and insight into action
- Experience managing performance through SLAs, KPIs, and metrics-driven frameworks
- Excellent process management capability — able to design, implement, and optimise end-to-end workflows
- Proficiency with TA technology (ATS, CRM, case management tools, reporting/analytics platforms)
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills — able to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
- Confident presenting to senior leadership and facilitating workshops or training sessions

- Location: Birmingham
- Contract: 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
