Overview
--------

The organization is a financial brokerage and trading firm specializing in FX, CFDs, forex, and crypto trading. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Chief Technology Officer based in the UAE to join the leadership team and drive the technology vision, architecture, and delivery of institutional-grade trading and financial platforms that support growth, reliability, security, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
----------------

*   Define and execute the overall technology strategy aligned with business objectives and market needs
*   Lead, scale, and mentor cross-functional engineering and product teams across global offices
*   Own solution architecture, infrastructure, and technology stack decisions for trading and financial systems
*   Oversee development, deployment, and scaling of high-availability trading platforms and related applications
*   Drive data engineering initiatives, including data pipelines, analytics, and systems supporting trading operations and compliance
*   Evaluate, pilot, and implement new technologies to maintain competitive advantage
*   Ensure platform reliability, security, and regulatory compliance across operating markets
*   Collaborate with the executive team and business stakeholders to translate strategy into technical execution and roadmaps

Qualifications
--------------

*   Proven experience as a CTO or senior technical leader within financial services, fintech, brokerage, or trading technology environments
*   Deep domain expertise in FX/forex, CFDs and/or crypto trading platforms and market workflows
*   Strong background in solution architecture across multiple technology stacks and cloud/on-prem infrastructure
*   Hands-on experience with data engineering, large-scale data systems, and real-time data pipelines
*   Demonstrated track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams and delivering mission-critical, high-availability applications
*   Ability to work full-time onsite in the UAE
*   Available to start soon
