Chief Technology Officer

Overview

The organization is a financial brokerage and trading firm specializing in FX, CFDs, forex, and crypto trading. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Chief Technology Officer based in the UAE to join the leadership team and drive the technology vision, architecture, and delivery of institutional-grade trading and financial platforms that support growth, reliability, security, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall technology strategy aligned with business objectives and market needs
• Lead, scale, and mentor cross-functional engineering and product teams across global offices
• Own solution architecture, infrastructure, and technology stack decisions for trading and financial systems
• Oversee development, deployment, and scaling of high-availability trading platforms and related applications
• Drive data engineering initiatives, including data pipelines, analytics, and systems supporting trading operations and compliance
• Evaluate, pilot, and implement new technologies to maintain competitive advantage
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and regulatory compliance across operating markets
• Collaborate with the executive team and business stakeholders to translate strategy into technical execution and roadmaps

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CTO or senior technical leader within financial services, fintech, brokerage, or trading technology environments
• Deep domain expertise in FX/forex, CFDs and/or crypto trading platforms and market workflows
• Strong background in solution architecture across multiple technology stacks and cloud/on-prem infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with data engineering, large-scale data systems, and real-time data pipelines
• Demonstrated track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams and delivering mission-critical, high-availability applications
• Ability to work full-time onsite in the UAE
