nothing else (www.thenothingelse.com) is a one-year-old sensitive skincare brand on a mission to remove preservatives from skincare. We've spent the first year growing organically, and now it's time to ramp up our paid socials. We're a two-person team - you will be the third. Ground level, unlimited opportunity to grow alongside us as we scale to be the biggest beauty brand ever.

## The Role

No agencies. We need a senior practitioner with at least 5 years of hands-on Meta ads experience to architect and then scale our Meta ads system.
We manage day-to-day oversight - you check in weekly to optimize.

## What You'll Actually Do

- **Asset Audit & Creative Briefing:**
  Audit our current content library, identify what is viable for paid social, and establish a clear framework/brief for what new UGC and hooks we need to shoot next.
- **Landing Page & Funnel Architecture:**
  Design and map out the direct-response landing pages / advertorials (tailored to specific customer avatars and angles) that match the exact promise of the ads, rather than dumping traffic to a standard homepage.
- **Account Setup & Hyper-Targeting:**
  Build out the Meta ad account structure, pixel/CAPI tracking, and hyper-targeted audience structures.
- **The Iteration Loop & Scaling:**
  Move from initial testing to scaling winners. You will set up the cadence for evaluating hook fatigue, creative rotation, and budget pacing.
- **Weekly Optimization Check-Ins:**
  Meet 1x per week to review performance metrics (CAC, ROAS, landing page conversion rates), troubleshoot data, and refine strategy while we handle day-to-day execution under your guidance.

## Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of direct, hands-on experience running, scaling, and architecting paid media funnels for DTC / e-commerce physical product brands.
- Deep fluency in direct-response funnels: Proven track record of building and mapping high-converting landing pages, advertorials, and avatar-specific funnels (not just driving traffic to a homepage).
- Modern Meta Media Buying Mastery: Expertise in setting up Meta Ads Manager, CAPI, advanced event tracking, and balancing hyper-targeting with modern broad/creative-led scaling frameworks.
- Creative-to-Data Loop: Ability to analyze raw UGC and ad performance metrics to continuously brief and iterate on winning hooks.
- Collaborative, Co-Building Mindset: You must be comfortable sharing your screen, explaining your setup logic, and building the system with us so we learn the mechanics firsthand. No "black box" agencies or isolated operators.
- Zero fluff: You know how to build lean, high-performing structures without bloated agency overhead.

## Compensation

- $2,000 monthly retainer (~$100 per hour)
- We reserve the right to adjust compensation based on experience.
