Compensation: $2,000–$2,500/month base + performance bonus | Remote | Ongoing, starts with a paid 30-day trial

The Role

Own growth day-to-day — not just execute tasks, but run the businesses' marketing and retention like they're yours. You'll report weekly with numbers, not status updates.

What You'll Own

• Content creation and posting (primarily Instagram — short-form before/after and educational content)
• Email marketing (Kit/ConvertKit) — sequences, campaigns, win-back flows
• DM automation funnel management (ManyChat/CreatorFlow)
• Churn reduction and customer win-back campaigns
• Storefront optimization (Payhip) — page copy, pricing, cross-sell/upsell setup
• Testing and scaling 1–2 new growth channels (affiliate/referral, SEO, influencer partnerships)
• Weekly reporting: MRR, new signups/trials, churn, and what moved the numbers

What We Need From You

• Prior experience growing a SaaS product, e-commerce brand, or service business — bonus points for the photography/creative-tools space
• Comfortable creating short-form video content yourself (filming, light editing, no need for a full production setup)
• Data-literate — you check the numbers before you decide what to do next
• Self-directed — we're hiring you to stop needing us, not to wait for instructions
• Familiarity with (or fast to learn): Payhip, ConvertKit/Kit, ManyChat/CreatorFlow, Instagram content tools
• Working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom Classic strongly preferred — you should understand presets, plugin workflows, and what a photographer's editing pain points actually are, since you'll be creating content and messaging around them
• Any experience in or adjacent to the photography industry is a big plus — working photographer, photo editor, camera gear reviewer, photography YouTuber/influencer, or someone who's marketed to photographers before

Compensation Structure

• Base: $2,000–$2,500/month
• Performance bonus: tied to net-new MRR growth above an agreed baseline (structure discussed with finalists) — this is designed to be uncapped upside as revenue climbs back toward $60K/month
• Trial period: first 30 days paid at the same rate, scoped to a specific, measurable goal — this functions as a mutual working trial before any longer commitment
