Overview
The company is an intelligence platform focused on sustainable operations for industrial manufacturers. We help manage sustainability and operational data and align it with financial decision-making. As the company expands, we are seeking a Fractional CRO to build a US acquisition engine, coach the commercial team, and lay the groundwork for future growth.
Responsibilities
- US Acquisition Motion
- Design and execute channel experiments to identify effective acquisition channels.
- Implement a framework to evaluate and optimize channel performance.
- Drive a consistent pipeline of qualified US demos each month.
- Team Coaching and Support
- Enhance performance of the organization’s international commercial team.
- Improve targeting, messaging, and outreach strategies.
- Sales Motion Codification
- Document and structure the sales process into a repeatable playbook.
- Develop resources such as discovery frameworks and demo guides.
- Commercial Systems and Data Infrastructure
- Configure and utilize CRM and sales engagement tools.
- Establish a regular KPI review cadence for data-driven decision-making.
- Hiring and Onboarding
- Define hiring profiles and manage the search for US-based mid-market account executives.
- Ensure new hires are effectively onboarded and productive.
- CRO Search and Transition Support
- Contribute to defining the permanent CRO role and support a smooth transition.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for the incoming leader.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in B2B SaaS or technical software sales, including 2–3 years in revenue leadership.
- Proven experience building early-stage go-to-market strategies.
- Expertise hiring and developing mid-market account executives.
- Strong skills in outbound acquisition and channel experimentation.
- Proficient with commercial infrastructure and CRM platforms (experience with popular CRMs preferred).
- Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels and execute effectively.
- Experience selling to manufacturing, industrial, or regulatory-facing customers is advantageous.
- Comfortable working in a fractional/part-time model with strong documentation practices.
