One Money Mail Ltd is an FCA-authorised Electronic Money Institution undergoing a significant Finance transformation programme.

## Fractional Head of Finance (1–2 Days per Week)

**FCA-Regulated Fintech | Ealing / Hybrid**

This is **not** a day-to-day accounting role. Instead, you will work alongside our Finance team and CEO to strengthen financial reporting, challenge controls, review month-end close and help build a scalable Finance function.

### Typical Responsibilities

- Review monthly management accounts.
- Review General Ledger integrity.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support month-end sign-off.
- Review financial controls and governance.
- Support safeguarding-related financial oversight.
- Coach and mentor the Finance team.
- Support external audit.
- Advise the CEO on finance governance and improvement opportunities.

### Ideal Background

Experience within one or more of:

- FCA-regulated Financial Services
- Payments
- EMI
- Banking
- FX
- Financial Controller
- Head of Finance
- Finance Director

### We are looking for someone who enjoys

- improving finance functions;
- building practical financial controls.

### Working Arrangement

- 1–2 days per week.
- Hybrid.
- London preferred.
- Flexible consultancy arrangement.

### Professional Qualifications

ACCA / ACA / CIMA preferred.

Strong practical experience within regulated Financial Services will be considered equally.

We are an FCA-regulated fintech / EMI strengthening our finance and safeguarding operating model and are looking for a hands-on finance professional to help stabilise and improve our finance and controls environment.

This is not a traditional corporate Head of Finance role.

We are looking for someone practical who enjoys improving controls, reporting and operational finance processes within a regulated payments environment.

Initial scope (2â3 days per week):

â Financial control & reportingâ Month-end and GL oversightâ Reconciliation and controls reviewâ Safeguarding / client money oversight supportâ Audit and regulatory supportâ Finance process improvement and stabilisation

Likely experience includes:

- Fintech / Payments / EMI / FX
- Financial control and reporting
- Audit / finance transformation
- Hands-on finance environments
- Improving messy or evolving processes
- FCA-regulated or financial services environments

ACCA / ACA / CIMA welcome; practical experience and a problem-solving mindset matter most.
