Fractional Head of Finance

Fractional Head of Finance (1–2 Days per Week)

FCA-Regulated Fintech | Ealing / Hybrid

This is not a day-to-day accounting role. Instead, you will work alongside our Finance team and CEO to strengthen financial reporting, challenge controls, review month-end close and help build a scalable Finance function.

Typical Responsibilities

• Review monthly management accounts.
• Review General Ledger integrity.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end sign-off.
• Review financial controls and governance.
• Support safeguarding-related financial oversight.
• Coach and mentor the Finance team.
• Support external audit.
• Advise the CEO on finance governance and improvement opportunities.

Ideal Background

Experience within one or more of:

• FCA-regulated Financial Services
• Payments
• EMI
• Banking
• FX
• Financial Controller
• Head of Finance
• Finance Director

Professional Qualifications

ACCA / ACA / CIMA preferred.

Strong practical experience within regulated Financial Services will be considered equally.
