Interim Marketing Manager (m/w/d) – Brand & Content

### Your Role

As Interim Marketing Manager, you will take on the central marketing function at Skalar for 3–6 months – spanning brand, content, and performance. You bridge a vacancy, maintain our go-to-market momentum, and hand over a well-structured, documented setup at the end.

You work closely in a trio with our Co-Founder (Growth), our Founding Account Executive, and Automation Manager: The Growth Manager provides you with funnel, CAC, and channel performance data; the Founding AE brings direct insights from sales calls about what matters to clients. You translate both into campaigns, content, and brand work that generate qualified pipeline – and close the loop back to the team.

**Key Difference from a Classic Full-Time Role:** You require minimal onboarding, prioritize hard on impact within your available timeframe, and leave behind a handover-ready system rather than loose ends.

### What You Will Do

#### Performance & Demand Gen

*   Test various mid- and top-of-funnel ads
*   Iterate landing pages, lead magnets, and conversion funnels
*   Manage and optimize paid campaigns (LinkedIn, Google, Meta) together with the Growth Manager

#### Operations & Momentum

*   Continue running campaigns, channels, and content calendars without friction
*   Own marketing KPIs during your tenure: MQL, CAC, pipeline contribution
*   Prioritize new marketing channels with the greatest impact potential

#### Brand & Content

*   Maintain consistent Skalar brand voice across all channels (website, LinkedIn, owned media, events)
*   Produce content formats that resonate with mid-market entrepreneurs and founders (long-form, video snippets, case studies, newsletter)
*   Sales enablement in close collaboration with the Founding AE: pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards

#### Handover & Structure

*   Keep marketing stack (CRM, analytics, automation) clean and documented
*   Manage external partners (freelancers, agencies) as needed
*   Build a handover-ready playbook and documented processes for your successor

### What You Bring

*   4–7 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in startup, SaaS, or professional services environments
*   Proven success in both disciplines: brand and content building as well as performance marketing with budget responsibility
*   Interim experience or demonstrated ability to deliver independently with minimal onboarding
*   Hands-on mentality: You build a landing page yourself, launch a LinkedIn campaign, and think strategically simultaneously
*   Strong understanding of funnel metrics and data analysis
*   Excellent command of German (business fluent, ideally native speaker); fluent English
*   Available short-term and ready for full-time presence in the Munich office
*   **Plus:** Experience with tax/legal tech, fintech, or regulated industries
