Position Summary

This is a fractional leadership position designed for an experienced business operations professional. The COO will serve as an advisor to ownership, conducting monthly evaluations of the practice and providing strategic recommendations that improve operational performance.

This role is not responsible for managing the day-to-day office staff. Instead, it focuses on analyzing business performance, identifying opportunities, and developing actionable plans for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a complete operational assessment of the practice on a recurring basis.
• Review business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies.
• Evaluate financial performance and operating expenses.
• Analyze revenue streams and profitability.
• Review marketing strategies, return on investment, and patient acquisition efforts.
• Evaluate market position and identify competitive opportunities.
• Assess customer service processes and patient experience.
• Review staffing structure and organizational efficiency.
• Analyze vendor relationships and operating costs.
• Develop measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Prepare written reports with findings and recommendations.
• Present strategic recommendations directly to ownership.
• Assist with implementing approved operational improvements when requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• Five or more years of experience in operations management, business consulting, healthcare administration, or practice management.
• Strong financial and business analysis skills.
• Experience developing and improving business processes.
• Knowledge of marketing metrics and business growth strategies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in medical, wellness, aesthetics, or healthcare environments is highly preferred.

Compensation

$500 - $1,500 per month. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. This position is expected to average approximately 10 hours per month, with flexibility in scheduling.
