Audit Staff
Location: Yerevan
Type: Temporary
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Hours: 20 hours per week for a three month contract opportunity (exact timing to be discussed)
Responsibilities
- Participate in engagement planning discussions
- Perform engagement procedures as directed by supervisor and clearly document procedures performed in workpapers
- Assist in drafting engagement reports
- Perform technical research as requested and report back your findings to your supervisor
- Work professionally with other members of an engagement team
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of the engagement team and client personnel
- Develop productive relationships with firm and client personnel
- Maintain a strong client focus, be responsive to supervisor's and client requests
Required Skills and Experience
- Degree in accounting, finance, or other related majors
- Some accounting work experience preferred but not required
- Be eligible to sit for the ACCA exams
- Have a basic knowledge of accounting concepts, professional standards and regulations (i.e., GAAP, GAAS, etc.)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated, accountable, and able to work independently
- Ability to handle multiple priorities tasks and projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as the ability to understand technology/software easily
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Work Arrangement
HCVT currently offers a hybrid work model that allows eligible employees to work both remotely and in the office, based on business needs and team coordination. When working remotely, employees are expected to meet the same performance standards, adhere to the same policies, and maintain the same level of communication, collaboration, and responsiveness as working in the office.
