Fractional COO / Chief of Staff

The Role

As Fractional COO and/or Chief of Staff, you'll partner directly with clinic leadership to bring structure, strategy, and operational discipline to a fast-paced healthcare practice. This is a part-time, remote role, with a schedule that flexes around the needs of the business.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement systems, workflows, and SOPs to improve efficiency and patient experience
• Partner with clinic owners/providers on strategic planning and growth initiatives
• Support hiring, onboarding, and management of administrative and support staff
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, reduce costs, and optimize resource allocation
• Serve as a operational point of contact for staff, vendors, and partners
• Act as a strategic right hand to clinic ownership, driving follow-through on key priorities and initiatives
• Help ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and industry best practices

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Prior experience serving as a COO and/or Chief of Staff (fractional or full-time)
• Strong operational and organizational leadership skills
• Ability to work remotely with occasional availability aligned to Austin, TX business hours
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with clinical staff and ownership

Preferred (not required):

• Experience in marketing strategy and execution (patient acquisition, local marketing, digital presence)
• Financial management experience (budgeting, forecasting, P&L oversight)
• Background in healthcare, wellness, or multidisciplinary clinical settings
• Familiarity with chiropractic or physical therapy practice operations
