Who this is for
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience leading HR for a small, remote, multi-state US company—ideally in a startup environment.
- Is thoughtful and precise. We value advice that is carefully researched and accurate, especially when it comes to compliance.
- Leads with a clear recommendation and explains the reasoning behind it.
- Takes a proactive approach. We won't always know which questions to ask, so we'd love someone who helps us anticipate what's coming and stay ahead of it.
- Is responsive within one business day—even if it's simply, "I'm on it and will have a full answer for you by Thursday."
Compensation: $1,000 - $1,500 / mo
Work Arrangement: Remote (United States; Canada), Part-time (10-20 hours per month)
About the Company
Fully remote team, under 10 full-time employees, concentrated in NY, CA, OK and United Kingdom. We also work with an extensive team of global contractors.
