Fractional Controller
Part-Time | Approximately 20–30 Hours Per Week | On-Site

We are seeking a seasoned Fractional Controller to provide financial leadership, oversight, and strategic guidance for our growing organization. This position is ideal for a highly skilled accounting professional who enjoys working independently, improving processes, and partnering with leadership to ensure financial accuracy and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
As our Fractional Controller, you will serve as a trusted financial advisor and oversee critical accounting functions, including:
• Managing general ledger accuracy and month-end close activities
• Reviewing financial statements and preparing management reports
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Developing and strengthening accounting procedures and internal controls
• Coordinating with external accounting, audit, and tax professionals
• Analyzing financial results and providing recommendations to improve performance and efficiency
• Ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA designation preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller-level responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with leadership
Position Details
• Independent Contractor (1099) status
• Approximately 20–30 hours per week initially
• On-site work environment
• Hourly compensation commensurate with experience
