Fractional Creative Director (Contract / Part-Time)
This is a part-time, contract role (~7-10 hours per week) for a senior creative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can guide both concept and execution.
What You'll Do
- Lead creative direction across multiple client accounts, ensuring consistency in brand voice, visual identity, and storytelling
- Elevate the quality of all creative output, with a strong emphasis on graphic design, visual systems, and overall polish
- Provide high-level direction and feedback on social content, ad creatives, campaigns, and production (photo/video)
- Oversee and approve key creative deliverables, ensuring they meet agency standards before reaching clients
- Collaborate with Social & Content Strategists (SCS), Client Success Managers (CSMs), designers, and freelance creatives
- Help define and refine brand systems, visual guidelines, and creative frameworks for client work
- Join select client calls or presentations to guide and defend creative direction when needed
- Establish and improve internal creative processes, briefs, and quality control standards
- Mentor and elevate designers and creatives through thoughtful, actionable feedback
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in creative direction, ideally within an agency or multi-brand environment
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in graphic design, branding, and digital/social campaigns
- A sharp eye for design — typography, layout, composition, and brand consistency
- Experience leading or overseeing designers and cross-functional creative teams
- Ability to translate strategy into compelling, high-performing creative
- Strong understanding of content production (video, photo, and social-first formats)
- Comfortable working in a fractional / embedded capacity with distributed teams
- Clear communicator who can give direct, actionable feedback and present ideas confidently
- Experience with performance-driven creative (paid social, engagement-focused content) is a plus
