I recently designed and built my own personal assistant AI--or local model context protocol (MCP) runtime--from the ground up.
Flexible, modular architecture, organized into three layers: data, reasoning, and agentic.
- The data layer fetches and structures real-time data from financial, health, and productivity sources (and a few others).
- The reasoning layer (powered by Claude 4) analyzes this structured data via a series of prompts I’ve written, producing summaries and actionable recommendations.
- The agentic layer acts as a central task list and automation engine — imagine an orchestration layer of API integrations that could, for example, run payroll on Deel or book a table via OpenTable.

- Catalogue new idea (from a voice note) and generate a one-pager with opportunity, personas, and next steps
- Suggest flights using current Chase Sapphire Reserve points and partner promos
- Analyze full investment portfolio (100+ holdings across multiple accounts)
- Recommend portfolio rebalancing based on goals, risk, taxes, and market conditions
- Create value/impact matrix across current professional initiatives
