## Group Tax Manager - Part Time

**Location:** Manchester  
**Type:** Permanent/part-time, Hybrid  
**Hours:** Ideally 3 days per week (flexible based on candidate)

### What You'll Do

**Tax Strategy & Advisory**

- Develop and maintain the Group's tax strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practice.
- Serve as the primary tax advisor to the CFO and senior leadership, providing commercially relevant guidance on all tax matters.
- Identify and communicate tax implications of business decisions, transactions, restructurings, and new business models.
- Advise on tax-efficient structures, M&A activity, and corporate restructuring projects.
- Monitor changes in domestic and international tax legislation, communicating impacts to the Board and relevant stakeholders.
- Support legal entity rationalisation, ERP implementations and finance transformation projects from a tax perspective.

**Tax Compliance & Reporting**

- Own the Group's tax compliance obligations across all jurisdictions, including corporate income tax, VAT/indirect tax, employment taxes, and withholding taxes.
- Oversee the preparation and timely submission of all Group tax returns.
- Prepare and review tax provisions and disclosures under IFRS, UK GAAP, or US GAAP, including deferred tax, for inclusion in statutory financial statements.
- Lead year-end and interim tax reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Maintain and reconcile the Group's tax provisions against filed returns.

**Transfer Pricing**

- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Group's transfer pricing policy, ensuring it is OECD-compliant and fit for purpose across all jurisdictions.
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation, including Master File and Local Files.
- Manage intercompany pricing arrangements and ensure timely recording of transfer pricing adjustments.

**International Tax & Regulatory Compliance**

- Lead the Group's Country-by-Country (CbC) reporting and Pillar Two (OECD) compliance obligations.
- Ensure compliance with Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR) rules and monitor relevant thresholds.
- Manage Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) and Criminal Finances Act (Corporate Criminal Offence) obligations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for HMRC and other tax authorities; manage tax audits and enquiries, both in the UK and overseas.
- Maintain and develop a robust Tax Control Framework and governance structure.

**Risk Assessment & Mitigation**

- Develop and maintain the Group Tax Risk Framework.
- Ensure strong internal tax controls.
- Manage tax audits and enquiries from tax authorities.
- Maintain appropriate documentation supporting tax positions.
- Assess permanent establishment risks arising from employee relocation, remote working and international presence.

**Stakeholder Management**

- Build strong relationships with finance teams across the business.
- Partner with legal, treasury, HR, payroll and commercial teams.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisers.
- Present tax matters to senior management when required, ensuring key stakeholders are informed and up to date with relevant legislative changes.

**Process Improvement**

- Identify opportunities to improve tax processes and controls.
- Support automation of tax reporting and compliance activities.

**About the role**

The Presentation Designer will elevate dynamic content of presentations in PowerPoint and other presentation media through robust graphic design practices. You will design presentations that strengthen brand awareness in all agency projects and pitch materials. You will ensure that presentation work across accounts meets agency quality standards.

### What you'll do

- **Visual Design & Storytelling:** Create, format, and design visually striking, accurate PowerPoint presentations and templates.
- **Data Visualization:** Convert complex scientific or medical data into clear, engaging infographics, charts, and diagrams.

### About you

## Workplace & Culture Manager

### What You'll Do

**Workplace Operations**

- Oversee the day-to-day operational running of all UK office locations, ensuring all sites are safe, functional, well-maintained, and consistently presented to a high standard
- Manage relationships with building management, facilities vendors, and service providers (cleaning, catering, security, maintenance, etc.)
- Maintains office supply stock (takes inventory, orders supply, and handles delivery) and manages local budget for orders
- Maintains office equipment (phones, copiers, coffee machine, etc). Schedules maintenance as needed
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, conducting regular audits and maintaining up-to-date documentation across all sites
- Acts as the main point of contact for on-site employees on all office related matters, including providing concierge level service for all visiting executives and clients
- Maintains local office alarm, building, and parking access controls
- Acts as local office fire warden (attend annual building training, maintain fire drill checklist, lead annual fire drill, etc.)
- Follows proper billing protocol to process monthly expense report
- Provides support for the Workplace ticketing system
- Manages UK sundry and social budgets, tracking spend and identifying cost efficiencies

**Employee Experience & Culture**

- Design and deliver a consistent, engaging employee experience across all office locations — from onboarding to everyday moments that matter
- Lead the planning and execution of company-wide and office-specific events, including all-hands, team socials, seasonal celebrations, milestone recognition, and community initiatives
- Champion the company's values and culture, developing programs and initiatives that bring them to life in a meaningful and authentic way
- Manage internal and external client meetings (conference room setup, catering, clean-up)

**Travel Management**

- Act as the primary point of contact for travel tools and transportation booking enquirers, ensuring cost-efficient and employee-friendly solutions
- Manage ground transportation booking as needed
- Support employees with travel queries, escalations, and complex itineraries as needed
- Keep abreast of travel risk and duty of care obligations, ensuring the company meets its responsibilities for employee safety while travelling

### About You

- Around 5 years of experience in a workplace, office management, people operations, or culture-focused role, ideally within a multi-site environment
- Proven track record of managing office portfolios and delivering high-quality employee experiences at scale
- A natural people-person with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the business
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across the business
- Commercially minded, with experience managing budgets and vendor negotiations
- Experience with workplace technology and ticketing systems
