Fractional Content Growth Leader

Social Video Marketing CompanyPosted Jul 30, 2026

Job Description

The company is an early-stage, self-funded short-form, AI-assisted video app preparing to launch in the U.S. The founders have built the product and app-store approval is complete. The organization needs a hands-on, fractional Growth Leader to rapidly build a creator-first supply, drive initial user growth, and own creator acquisition and retention with minimal founder involvement. This role is mission-critical to ensure content availability at launch and accelerate scale toward viewers and future monetization.

Responsibilities

  • Create and own a creator acquisition and retention strategy focused on AI-assisted short-form video creators.
  • Identify, source, recruit, onboard, and incentivize creators at scale to build the product’s content supply prior to launch.
  • Execute growth tactics across platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram) to recruit creators and attract early viewers.
  • Design and implement creator incentive programs, onboarding flows, and content guidelines to maximize output and quality.
  • Run day-to-day operations for creator relationships: outreach, contracts/agreements, content calendars, and performance feedback.
  • Set KPIs, track creator and platform metrics (uploads, engagement, retention, LTV), and iterate tactics based on data.
  • Coordinate closely with the product and development team to align creator needs with feature development and user experience.
  • Deliver an actionable growth plan with minimal founder involvement and execute independently.
  • Support potential adjacent hiring needs (e.g., post-production or content operations) as the organization grows.

Qualifications

  • Proven, hands-on experience scaling social or consumer platforms via creator and community growth (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram).
  • Demonstrated success identifying, recruiting, and retaining content creators, ideally including creators producing AI-assisted video content.
  • Strong execution skills: able to both design strategy and run day-to-day outreach, onboarding, and operations.
  • Experience building incentive programs and creator-facing processes that drive content supply and quality.
  • Data-driven: comfortable defining KPIs, analyzing performance, and iterating quickly.
  • Startup experience and comfort working with lean budgets and a fast-moving, early-stage team.
  • Able to work independently, come prepared with a clear plan, and operate with minimal oversight.
  • Fractional/contract experience preferred, with willingness to start on a test engagement and scale to a larger commitment if the fit is right.
  • U.S.-based or able to support a U.S. market launch (preference for California). Availability to start as soon as possible is preferred.

About the Company

  • Early-stage, content-first social video company focused on short-form, AI-assisted video experiences.
  • Self-funded team preparing for a U.S. launch with a lean engineering group and limited runway; mission is to build scalable creator supply and viewer growth through creator-first go-to-market efforts.
