  In 1998, Sagi co-founded Webair, an internet infrastructure company which would eventually become a leader in the complex hybrid cloud managed disaster-recovery niches. Sagi was responsible for all R&D, product development, technical marketing, and GTM. Additionally, he was responsible for all backend infrastructure, including scalable data center deployments, building a global IP transit network, automated customer provisioning portals, dynamic utilization accounts receivable software, DDoS monitoring & mitigation platforms, and multi-tenant cloud compute, storage, backups, and disaster recovery service offerings. His hands-on approach ensured he was at the epicenter of product development, maintaining feedback loops between customers, technical staff, sales leaders, SEs, and industry analysts, ensuring a short, streamlined, and highly relevant product development cycle. With Sagi’s help, Webair was eventually sold, and later merged with two other successful cloud and BCDR organizations, rebranding as Opti9. Sagi still leads technical innovation at Opti9 today, ensuring it remains at the forefront of innovation.
