## Business Process Engineer

**Position Details:**
- Remote, Remote, United States
- Part-time
- Clearance Requirement: None

**Essential Job Duties:**

- Develop and refine business process models, optimizing workflows for program execution and interagency coordination.
- Identify areas for process automation, efficiency improvements, and performance tracking, ensuring alignment with DoD best practices.
- Submit a quarterly Business Process Optimization & Automation Report, detailing process improvements, automation strategies, and workflow enhancements.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, OR Five (5) years of equivalent experience in financial management.
- Knowledge and capability to track program financials, manage budgets, and align funding streams with DoD financial planning processes.
- Proficient in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, financial forecasting, and cost estimation.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills are required to support funding justifications and expenditure tracking.
- Demonstrated experience in DoD budget execution, cost estimation, and financial reporting.
- Experience with defense financial management systems, congressional budget justifications, and funding reconciliation is required.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Certifications: Lean Six Certification, PMP Certification, KM Certification, Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), CPA, or DAWIA Level II in Financial Management.

SOSi is seeking a Business Process Engineer to support mission requirements for a structured approach to further develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable, federated data ecosystem that enhances interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer. The primary objective of the program is to bridge the operational gaps between DoD, IC, interagency, and non-traditional international partners to enable real-time information sharing, dynamic data integration, and mission-tailored analytical capabilities.
