I have been working in Product Management and UX design for 15 years. Most recently I lead regulatory and data products for Bird from 50 employees through their public listing. Before that I led product at NationBuilder, an A16z backed startup, building organizing tools for campaigns and nonprofits. My passion is combining the "art" of product vision, with the "science" of established frameworks for scalable and repeatable success.
Data and structured customer understanding are the two pillars that underlie building a good product strategy. I have a unique combination of experiences that allow me to level up my clients in both of these key disciplines.
At heart I am an obsessive problem solver. I love synthesizing good qualitative research into quantified business goals and building world-class product development teams tailor-made for growing specific product domains.
I started Setpiece (my consultancy) because I believe that the development of the product function, and the maturation of how companies build product, is the perfect venue to bring executives and the whole team into alignment with the broader strategy of the business. Building the alignment needed to prioritize and then execute against a product roadmap spills over into alignment across the company.
Bird was required to provide data to city regulators in real time via API's. This one of a kind compliance regime necessitated a new data pipeline that gave cities the data they required, and internal operations the ability to maintain compliance.

Led cross functional ‘mission team’ (including PM's. Product Marketers, & Policy Specialists) focused on cities & regulators.
Built streaming data pipeline using Flink & Kafka to create source of truth for vehicle state.
Built a full suite of API's to allow MaaS integrations.
Chaired the Technical Council of the Open Mobility Foundation responsible for the open source MDS Specification.
Conceived and executed Bird’s GovTech platform
Led cross-functional team building platform to optimize supply using data science models and operational tooling.

NationBuilder is an A16Z backed startup that is building an all in one platform that gave nonprofits, movements, and campaigns the ability to connect deeply with their people.
Built product team from ground up; managed team that included product managers, product designers, and product writers.
Led product and engineering teams through 2016 election during which platform was used by 4 of 5 presidential candidates and 4,000 other candidates nationwide.
Launched integrated payments platform as new revenue stream.

Led the transition of Citysearch’s mobile website in-house, increasing revenue 30% and user engagement 50%.
Relaunched Citysearch Android app.
