    • Worked with private investors to preform quantitative work to raise capital to restart shuttered gold mines in South America, given the recent rise in the gold price.

    • Responsible for monthly reporting of full-company financial results to the Base Metals senior leadership team (CEO and CFO) complete with full analysis.
    • Oversaw the full company financials of the Base Metals Business Unit which comprised of ~$8B of revenue, ~2B of EBITDA, ~1.5B of Capex, ~15,000 direct employees.
    • Heavy involvement in the 10% ownership sale of the Base Metals Business to Manara Minerals. My main responsibility for this transaction was answering questions about the Base Metals Business Unit’s financials that was received by our investment bankers (Goldman Sachs) from interested buyers’ investment bankers and legal teams.
    • Throughout 2020 to 2023, I acted as the finance representative to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team.
    • The IBP team was a prestigious group at Vale that oversaw all aspects of the 24-month plan of the business. Throughout my involvement with the team, I participated in decision making at the highest level by providing financial analysis for proposed actions (financial and operational) and generated customized financial metrics and ad-hoc analysis to support decision making.
    • Outside of the IBP group, my day-to-day duties as part of the FP&A group involved, the preparation of 24-month rolling forecast, annual budget, monthly variance analysis and presentation of findings to senior management.
