Fractional Controller

We are seeking a fractional controller to work 10-16 hours (flexible) per week on a contract basis at our office in Plymouth. We prefer someone with knowledge of Peachtree/Sage 50 software and experience with job costing/percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.

• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare/adjust prepaid expenses and accrued liabilities
• Update and prepare the WIP monthly
• Set up new jobs in Peachtree and invoice customers per contract
• Prepare the monthly financial statements
• Monitor cashflow
• Oversee accounts payable
• Process bi-weekly payroll (Paychex) and make payments for 401k and HSA
• Liaise with outside CPAs for reviewed financial statements and tax returns
• Liaise with business valuation provider for the annual ESOP evaluation
• Quarterly sales tax returns
• Quarterly BEA reporting
• Monitor/schedule debt payments
• Insurance packages renewal
• Workers' Compensation audit
• Benefits renewal
• New employee onboarding
• Maintain employee files
• Compile info for Empower 401k Form 5500 and Alerus ESOP Form 5500

Pay: $75.00 - $95.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 16.0 per week
