Brian brings over 15 years of experience spanning investment banking, digital assets, and clean energy infrastructure. Currently, he serves as Senior Advisor at aetherEV Energy, where he supports capital raising, strategic growth initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and the development of EV charging infrastructure across Canada.
Previously, Brian held the role of Principal & Vice President of Business Development at Aquanow, a leading digital asset infrastructure firm. During his tenure, Brian onboarded over 200 institutional clients, helping drive transactional volumes exceeding $100Bn across 50+ countries, while also establishing key banking and payments partnerships globally.
Earlier in his career, Brian was a Vice President at Citigroup in both Canada and the UK, where he advised CFO's and Treasurers on complex financial solutions. Brian played a leading role in several major transactions, including a $10Bn debt facility for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a $3.3Bn M&A deal involving Brookfield Infrastructure Partners.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business, where he was named an Academic All-Canadian. During his time there, Brian was also captain of the men’s varsity soccer team, an experience that instilled strong leadership, teamwork, and resilience - qualities he continues to apply throughout his professional journey.
Beyond work, Brian actively mentors students at several universities and serves on alumni and nonprofit boards, contributing to both community development and the promotion of education.
