About the Department
The EMEA Request for Proposal (RFP) team helps win and retain business by creating high-quality responses to client questionnaires and proposal requests. Working closely with partners across investment, product management, distribution, and other global teams, the department ensures Franklin Templeton's capabilities, products, and services are presented accurately and competitively. The team supports both retail and institutional clients across fixed income, equities, multi-asset solutions, and alternative investments in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
How You Will Add Value
- Complete Request for Proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and client questionnaires.
- Create accurate, compelling client-facing responses.
- Support colleagues with proposal development and reviews.
- Ensure submissions meet quality and client requirements.
- Manage multiple projects against competing deadlines.
- Coordinate reviews and approvals with key stakeholders.
- Update and maintain proposal content libraries.
- Identify opportunities for response improvement and consistency.
- Build strong relationships across global teams.
- Deepen your knowledge of clients, products, and business priorities.
What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role
Experience, Education & Certifications
- Experience in financial services, consulting, proposal writing, editorial, or copywriting roles
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of investment markets and asset classes is advantageous
- Claritas Investment Certificate (CFA Institute) or Investment Management Certificate (IMC) is beneficial
Technical Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent proofreading and editing abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Qvidian or similar content management systems is advantageous
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Adaptable and comfortable working to tight deadlines
- Confident engaging with stakeholders across the business
- Excellent English language skills
- Additional European language skills are an advantage
Work Schedule & Location
Based in our Edinburgh or London office with at least 3 days per week in the office.
