  Club Necaxa is a professional Mexican soccer team, founded on August 21, 1923 in Mexico City. Scottish-born engineer; William H. Frasser, was in charge of giving it life. Frasser was the General Manager of the "Luz y Fuerza" company, and with the desire to promote sports, he managed to bring together the company's teams: "Luz y Fuerza" and "Tranvías" to create a team that would participate in the championship called "Centennial". After putting together a good team, the decision was made to found a real soccer club, bringing together the best players and elements available from said squads.
