Interim HR Advisor
Location: Penrith, GB, CA11 9EH
Work Arrangement: Onsite role in Penrith, Cumbria
Contract Type: 6-month fixed-term contract
What impact you will make:
- Be a trusted HR partner for managers, providing practical advice and guidance on a wide range of people matters.
- Lead employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance and absence management processes.
- Coach and develop managers to build confidence and capability in managing performance, attendance and employee wellbeing.
- Build strong relationships across the site through regular floor walks and visible, proactive HR support.
- Support recruitment activities including interviewing, onboarding, probation, training and other HR administration activities to deliver a positive employee experience.
What you need to succeed:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or HR Generalist role ideally within a manufacturing, industrial, logistics, engineering or other fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong employee relations knowledge and a good understanding of UK employment law.
- Experience supporting managers within a manufacturing, industrial or operational environment.
- Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills.
- A professional, proactive and confidential approach to HR.
