I have extensive experience leading and enabling all major customer focused functions (product management, data/application engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success & Service) at a range of company sizes and stages from early stage startups (pre seed, seed, series b) to growth stage (100-400 employees) to large, multi-national corporations (Amazon).


Outside of work, you'll find me exploring where I live, getting a sweat on, or obsessing about whatever new book series I'm reading.

Work

  • I was working for a company with a very technical product and non-technical customer facing team and buyers with a range of potential buy reasons. We were running into an issue where the sales team couldn't tie the product to buyer problems themselves so the Head of Product had to be on every single sales call from initial discovery through bottom of funnel.


    I built out a training series for the customer facing team to 1) better conceptualize the product to less technical users, 2) read and react to buyers and their unique problems, and 3) understand the variety of product value propositions, be able to explain them, and create their own visual accompaniments.


    I then ran each team member through a three pronged training exercise to get them comfortable being the first line to technical buyers. As a result, we were able to move product involvement to post sales discovery and increased the velocity from top to bottom of the funnel due to better tying customer problems with our value propositions.

    • Created product and GTM strategy based on target audience specific needs to build a best in class data operating system for sports teams to accelerate their data infrastructure, descriptive & predictive analytics (AI/ML), and analysis.
    • Took product from 0-1 with 100% codebase revamp to a modern infrastructure to improve speed, reduce bugs, and better fit to customer workflows before onboarding our first paying customers.
    • Oversaw the development and management of the software engineering, data science, and data engineering teams to build, test, and productionize assets that drive customer usage using two-week agile sprints.
    • Ensured alignment between the technical and business sides of GSA and external stakeholders by creating outreach assets, including videos and case studies, to drive revenue, resulting in a 45%+ average cold outreach email open rate.
    • Lead technical discovery with customers to better understand their use cases and how Gemini can fit into their workflows.
    • Designed and implemented customer trials and onboarding by co-creating project plans to increase trial conversion and application usage, leading to 65% increase in app usage MoM.
    • Defined, built, and implemented analytics frameworks to track and improve customer usage and drive retention hypotheses.

    • Built customer-cohorts, ad strategy, and development plan for website redesign. Developed product strategy for website and future endeavors, including introduction into new markets and technologies. Built HTML Ad Tags for ad strategy implementation.

    We are bringing everyone closer to the game in ways never before imagined, with new forms of interaction, immersion, and personalization. From mobile apps, to giant touchscreens, to smart TVs, to VR/AR, we deliver exactly what each fan, commentator, coach, or player wants to see.

    • Defined and executed on new Soccer Eventing product suite for customers including teams, leagues, broadcast partners, and betting houses. Product took the output from computer-vision (CV) cameras into a ML model to create all events in a sports games.
    • Built 2S’s Performance Software long-term strategy to drive better feature development and tie engineering work to customer impact. Built HTML email templates to drive better customer communication.
    • Defined, built, and implemented analytics frameworks to track and improve customer usage and drive retention hypotheses.

    • Defined and executed on Catapult’s new customer-facing platform strategy for integrating our disparate products together and building richer customer experiences on top of them. Built user permissioning and management architecture for the new platform.
    • Designed and launched a new athlete facing application in six languages to facilitate coach-athlete communication and learning, driving engagement up 120% over our previous experience.
    • Built SQL and data visualization reports to dive into customer adoption of products and features to drive decision making.

    • Defined, communicated, and executed Alexa Information’s product strategy for use of videos, 3P (external) partnerships, and 2P (internal) relationships to provide a richer customer experience.
    • Built a data pipeline that efficiently derived and tested upwards of 300B synthetic utterances for any subject matter, improving the team’s ability to expand Alexa’s breadth of answering despite increasing privacy protections on customer data.
    • Led product development for Alexa’s baseball offerings, including building data pipelines and launching content across four leagues in six different locales and four languages. Improved Alexa’s baseball coverage 84% YoY.
